Every year, as part of the Hillel Tradition, Fourth Grade celebrates Michigan through a variety of learning experiences.  The 2020 Michigan Program is a very unique one, for sure!  This website is dedicated to all things Michigan as created, researched and explored by the students.  There are even a few surprises, too!

From Lighthouse learning in science and library to research skills in Writer's Workshop, this experience runs deep!  Students learned how to research, take good notes, avoid plagiarism, and cite sources. The skills developed in writer’s workshop helped write the A-Z book and the Michigan Jews Book.  Students wrote stories about the Underground Railroad that you can read too!  technology skills resulted in the creation of video games and the proper formatting of writing assignments.

We hope you enjoy our Virtual Showcase of Michigan!
